14.08.1851: abends um 11 ½ Uhr wird Fs erster Sohn geboren – „Also auch diese Staffel wäre erklommen“; er erhält den Namen George Emile – anstatt nach dem Vater genannt zu werden, wie Emilie Fontane gewünscht hat, „da ich meinen Ruhm auch mit meinem Erstgebornen nicht theilen will“ [1] [2]
