The Society of Friends and supporters of the Theodor Fontane Archive (Die Gesellschaft der Freunde und Förderer des Theodor-Fontane-Archivs e.V.)
Friends and supporters of the Theodor Fontane Archive experience more, are closer and are the first to be informed – into the anniversary year and beyond. The Society of Friends and supporters of the Theodor Fontane Archive set the goal of supporting the Fontane Archive in its function as a significant literary archive and center of the international Fontane research and to emphatically highlight and illustrate its academic and cultural position in public.
Bild: TFAIn particular the association supports the archive ideally and materially in the retention and further consolidation and supplementation of the Fontane Estate: in the realization of diverse editions projects; in indexing and museum as well as medial presentation of the archival holdings. In conjunction with the neighbouring institutions, the Friends Association contributes with publicly efficacious events to an important part of the “Culture at the Pfingstberg”.
The definitive goal of the association is to render the person and the works of Fontane’s so important archive more visible in the publich sphere and to make it a place for disziplinary discussions, for exchange of research results and to further cultivate meetings of Fontane friends, pupils and students.

Become a friend or supporter of the Theodor Fontane Archive and contribute with membership dues and donations to the support of the diverse activities of the archive. We would be delighted to have your active support.
As a member of the Society of Friends and supporters of the Theodor Fontane Archive we invite you regularly to all events where you can get to know the house, its staff and their work. In addition to the archives comprehensive annual programme, friends and supporters of the Fontane Achive can take advantage of special events for a look behind the scenes. And naturally you will receive the prestigious biannual journal, the Fontane Blätter, which appears on behalf of the Theodor Fontane Archive and the Theodor Fontane society.
For supporters we offer additional exclusive tours and lectures, name recognition on a plaque in the foyer as well as attendance at presentation acquisitions.
As a welcome gift, you will receive the current issue of the Fontane Blätter as well as the publication Leuchtfeuer. 20 kulturelle Gedächtnisorte, in which the Theodor Fontane Archive is introduced alongside 19 other cultural memorial places of national importance.
