Call for submissions for the »Fontane Blätter«
We invite interested researchers to submit articles for the journal Fontane Blätter, which has been published since 1965. Fontane Blätter is published biannually by Peer Trilcke and Roland Berbig on behalf of the Theodor Fontane Archive and the »Theodor Fontane Gesellschaft e.V.«. Their articles focus on Theodor Fontane, his work, his life, the history of his impact and reception, as well as his contemporaries. Articles with a general historical or systematic focus are also published, if they are particularly relevant to Fontane or realism research. In addition to literary essays, Fontane Blätter publishes reviews and conference reports, editions as well as scholarly essays and miscellanies.

Submissions should follow the manuscript design guidelines of the Fontane Blätter.
Submitted articles are reviewed by an independent editorial board of experts in the field in accordance with the blind peer review process. The editors decide on publication in consultation with the advisory board.
